It's worth watching to the end, as George says, "Next time you can provide evidence to support your claims." Cut off interview.
BAM!!
Miller got more and more hysterical and angry as George asked him for evidence. He kept saying, "Everyone knows," and "We have said," none of which are facts.
Later, Himmler Miller said this, which scared the hell out of me:
The end result of this, though, is that our opponents, the media and the whole world will soon see as we begin to take further actions, that the powers of the president to protect our country are very substantial and will not be questioned.[/i]
Here it is on twitter - you don't need to join twitter to watch this:

(18,652 posts)recently said on his show, Thur or Fri, that Bannon and Miller are in a power struggle with "other people." Geist asked, "You mean the Trump family?" and Scab refused to confirm or deny. That's a confirmation the family members allegedly divorced from the maladmin. in order to run Trump biz's are indeed engaged in the WH admin.

(7,581 posts)They are getting rid of any of the traditionalists. Spicer, Priebus will both be gone. This little Himmler will be what they think is the tough guy, but he will help bring about their downfall.

(81,181 posts)His eyes flicked from side to side which is what you see when you're watching somebody reading cue-cards (that are held for you directly under the camera lens by a stage-hand) or a teleprompter. We had just finished watching the replay of SNL that my husband recorded last night to be sure we'd see it if we fell asleep. So the replay is finished. Switch to "watch cable." BOOM. It's on regular NBC because that's what we left the TV tuned to last night. And turning it on this morning takes us immediately to "Meet the Press."
And there's this - yep, VERY good word for him - robotic dude talking up trump and I swear, I thought "Wait a minute - is THIS SNL?"
He was SPECTACULARLY robotic! As though he still had the coat hanger in his coat when he put it on. VISIBLY reading off a teleprompter or a set of cue cards. Those eyes gave that away - OR their rapid side-to-side movement indicated some sort of either vision disorder, nerve disorder, or perhaps something latent that's even worse. His youth and appearance, all clean-cut and clean-shaven and suited up, strongly suggested one of this new generation of SNL cast members. For a moment, I was utterly confused. Is this reality or spoofery?
Maybe in this Stephen Miller dude's case, it's "extreme" spoofery, or inadvertent, unconscious spoofery maybe.

(27,995 posts)I know exactly what you mean! I predict this lying shifty-eyed robot WILL be a character on SNL soon!

(1,154 posts)While I appreciate what George is trying to do, that fact remains that thanks in large part to our national media we have a government made up of con-men, psychopaths, neonazis and other assorted criminals. If said media wants to make up for it by exposing these creeps, I'm all for it- but as far as I'm concerned they are still not off the hook.

(3,231 posts)I've seen better prepared high school debaters with backed up statements. He has nothing but his opinion. And the saddest part is that is what trump voters believe without the evidence to back up those claims. unbelievable! Where was this fact checking during the election?!
madokie
(51,076 posts)George should have shut him down early on in that interview.
The cretin was allowed to repeat his unsubstantiated claims several time. To me that is unacceptable
Press, Wake the fuck up!

(34,425 posts)Registered claim, that there is no evidence of that; he should have said "if in fact busloads of people entered NG just prior to the election, and you have provided no evidence of that, couldn't they have been GOTV volunteers?"; he could have said "I very well CAN and WILL deny that..."
He's allowing the repetition to convey a message that many viewers predisposed to believe what Spicer Jr said, to believe it with too little challenge.

It would be obvious he isn't one to do the heavy lifting required of a REAL President. Again, there might be a very public outcry against him, too.

He's probably has gotten away with his fact free BS spiel for so long in just addressing rightwing audiences, he thinks it's an ironclad argument. (5,810 posts)and another to actually show up TO vote. Many people die annually and then have the nerve to not take themselves off the voter rolls!
This "outrage" is pulled out by Miller (and other shills) every time voter fraud is the topic. As if zombies are coming out of the grave to cast a vote. Or more likely, people are reading the obits to figure out who they can impersonate to vote in the next election.
It just makes my blood pressure go up hearng Miller and his ilk trot out these tall tales as if they are evidence and then they have the nerve to get all haughty when pressed for evidence...not just their opinion. He had a certain...."how dare you question me or the White House?" tone.
When these jackass liars fall, I hope it is hard and fast. Enough to rattle those pearly whites right out of their lying mouths!

(80 posts)that there is a lot of people registered to vote in multiple states. When you move to a new state there is a mechanism to register. Is there a mechanism to unregister? Not that I know of. Just because one is registered to vote in two states doesn't mean one does.
Oh, and we need our media to start acting like this more often.
TexasBushwhacker
(20,162 posts)Like Steve Bannon, Tiffany Trump, Sean Spicer, Jared Kushner and voter fraud "expert" Gregg Phillips. Registering to vote in more than one state means you MOVED. Voting more than once in a single election is what's illegal.
And enough about the dead people registered to vote. They were alive when they registered. They just weren't removed from the voter rolls.
murielm99
(30,730 posts)voted in your new location, and then requested an absentee ballot and voted with your old address, too. I don't think it happens much. County clerks and their staffs are better than this.
All this yelling is preparatory to setting up some stringent voter suppression. We will have to be ready for it.

(20,162 posts)Help people get picture IDs where they are required. Provide rides if they need them. Help them get the paperwork (birth certificates, etc) needed to get photo IDs.
Get deputized so you can register voters.
People to double check newly registered voters to make sure they've been added to voter rolls.
Publicize how people can check to see if they are currently registered.
Register to work at the polls. The more people are there to help people to vote (rather than deny) the better.
I know that driver networks are being put together for volunteer drivers to take women seeking abortions to their clinic appointments. We need something like that for voting rights.
