I wonder if the "Believers" know how ridiculous they are to the ones who take the time to educate

themselves on the issues.

Christ....this Miller guy....Huckabee's daughter...I just sit and watch and shake my head in disbelief at the level of their crazy.

And the "Believers" just suck it up like it's the truth.

I'm amazed at the stupidity of some of these people. In Buddhism, ignorance is the greatest impediment to acquiring an enlightened mind. Sometimes we call it stupidity, not to be confused with low IQ. Ignorant about how the world actually exists, ignorant about the need to practice generosity, tolerance, and compassion. Ignorant that we humans, everyone of us, has stresses, issues, difficulties, obstacles. Ignorant that simply practicing the golden rule is in everyone's self interest. Ignorant that actions can have beneficial or negative consequences.

I don't think that's simply a matter of a poor education. Although reading philosophy, literature, history, science etc would be helpful.
Sometimes I just have to shake my head is disbelief at some of the utter stupidity that comes out of some peoples' mouths. I don't get it.
