The Power of Disruption
Welcome to the dawn of the fighting-mad majority: The ones who didnt vote for Trump and maybe even some who now regret that they did.
They are charging forward under the banner of sage wisdom that has endured through the ages: Show up, get loud and fight back. Do it with your body and words, with your time and money, with every fiber of yourself. They see what this dawning regime means and they dont intend, not even for a second, to wait around to see what happens. What happens is happening right now and its horrific.
Donald Trump is a vulgar, uninformed, anti-intellectual, extremely unpopular grifter helming a family of grifters who apparently intend to milk their moment on the mount for every red cent.
...
Unethical is too kind a word for these classless cretins. Furthermore, Trump has nominated, and his Republican conspirators in the Senate have confirmed, a rogues gallery of some of the least qualified, most questionable appointees in recent memory. Aside from some of them being the fiercest critics of the very agencies they are charged with leading, some have also been accused of bigotry, plagiarism, insider trading and overall vacuousness.
...
Trump is not normal. He is not competent. And we will not simply sit back and suck it up.

(21,736 posts)Putin told him to destroy the US from within, and that is exactly what he is doing.
Making themselves a ton of money in the process is just a perk.

(15,233 posts)They rule by fear. The "Dear Leader, Fuehrer, Big Brother, Chairman, etc." requires only obedience born out of fear. It starts with the inner circle and spreads from there. So far Trump is only in his early stages establishing his inner circle and consolidating power.

(15,233 posts)Trump and his kind do not need approval and do not need a majority they do require blind obedience. The more Trump blends into the background the more dangerous he becomes. So far Trump has Congress, State Governments, the military, Wall Street, and 30-40 million voters. It remains to be seen where the Courts and Intelligence community will fall. The majority who have not fallen for Trump lies are at risk I expect us to get hosed.

(6,226 posts)The repubs appeal to the authoritative types. They are the ones who bitch about those who come in late at work even though we are given a 7 minute grace period. They live in a black/white world where there is no grey in between. That is why so many of them are angry all the time. They want us to be like them. Never. I just laugh.
