This feels more ominously possible every day

David Frum @davidfrum
It’s as if a hostile foreign power has seized the US government and is by remote control steering it toward the maximum possible catastrophe

...not a Frum fan, not even a rehabilitated Frum, but he's right on here and it's significant, considering the source.

...is stunning.

I can easily imagine them doing everything wrong in any major crisis. Moreover, most ties with folks in government who would fill in the gaps in knowledge and experience are being deliberately and callously severed at almost every opportunity.

Maybe his mother Barbara (who was a top-notch social-justice warrior up here) will forgive him from her grave. He's trying, I'll give him that.

I share his sense of ominous possibility. And it's not "as if a hostile foreign power has seized the US government". That is precisely what has happened.

Frum and Charles Krauthammer are bashing the actions of this administration.
