I'd guess that most DU'ers believe Trump is neck deep into the Russian involvement into the election and... everything else.
But how deep does this go?
Think about it.
They (GOP) were facing an almost 100% Hillary Clinton presidency according to polls. That is intolerable and unacceptable to them. It was apocalyptic. Worthy of desperate actions.
And as desperation sunk in, I see Paul Ryan letting team Drumpf do anything to win. Plus Ryan's job was on the line, too. And DT and Ryan had a few meetings near the end of the campaign...
And there were plenty of rumors and accusations that Ryan/GOP saw fit to ignore.
And we all know who is in line to become Prez if DT and Pence went down.
After seeing the brazen things these guys have been willing to do, it is hard to believe there is anything they are not capable of conspiring to do.
Are we a few weeks away from President Ryan?

(449 posts)According to Wikipedia:
Presently, the disciplinary process begins when a resolution to expel or censure a Member is referred to the appropriate committee. In the House, this is the Committee on Standards of Official Conduct (House Ethics Committee); in the Senate, this is the Select Committee on Ethics (Senate Ethics Committee).

I nominate Brian Schatz to start the process to expel Paul Ryan:

(38,465 posts)I think he's been aware of the Trump/Russia steaming pile since before the (s)election. IMO, all Republican leadership is implicated. I personally think Trump will resign, to spend more time with his family. If the Democrats can then use the scandal to retake the Congress on 2018, then Pence and all will go down.

(2,176 posts)And the lawyer dropped the criminal investigation before the election then is appointed to Sessions post when he goes to work for Trump, effectively ending the investigation, I wondered if they all knew the fix was in. Paul Ryan did a 100% turn around also. They all knew. Comments by Gulliani showed he knew it all along and just couldn't keep his mouth shut. I've thought it's pretty transparent, proving it may be harder though.

(4,393 posts)There's a reason the GOP was so determined not to have him as the candidate to go to the almost unprecedented lengths of publicly mulling over not endorsing Trump and there's a reason they all jumped on board afterwards.
