He's on Chris Hayes's show flapping his lips against the administration. He called for Flynn to resign yesterday.
He's walking a fine line here because he represents a swing district in my state.

We need to brand the Republicans as the Party of Traitors. Tag every single one of them as a traitor to their country and a disgrace to our men and women risking their lives overseas.

(2,795 posts)Too bad Chris didn't ask him about running away from his town hall, sneaking out the back door of the building.
What a liar. He couldn't give two shits about transparency or honesty. You're right, he's worried for his job and probably trying to avoid angry mobs at his town halls because they scare him.

(46,166 posts)We're in Ed Perlmutter's district. I so hope he's in a strong enough position to help the Dem running in that neighboring district of Coffman's.

(2,795 posts)We used to be in Coffman's district but they gerrymandered us into eastern Colorado and - yippee!! - we get Ken Butt.
Can't wait till that disgusting toad throws in to run for governor again. You know he will.

(16,945 posts)When Nixon got one, he thought since his Attorney General Eliot Richardson, appointed Archibald Cox, Cox would play along. Nope. Cox went after Nixon, Nixon fired him, and Richardson and his Deputy Attorney General William Ruckelshaus resigned. The Saturday Night Massacre.

(16,945 posts)I was 20 when the Watergate scandal came to the surface. It was all we talked about or listened to on the tv news. Ha, we got 2 stations, NBC and CBS.

(3,231 posts)ABC and CBS and both would play certain NBC programs. I was a toddler when Watergate happened, but I remember my father watching the movie. I saw it in the nineties. Due for a rewatch.
I watched All the President's Men, and Frost/Nixon, but not recently. We couldn't watch the Frost show, because it was on ABC. My husband's parents lived in town and had cable, so they had several channels. But my mother-in-law was a red hot republican and thought Nixon was innocent, still does.

(46,166 posts)How Sessions was there with Trump from the start of his campaign and probably giving Trump legal advice every step of the way. So he can't conduct an investigation of the Flynn matter.
I'm loving this. Sessions should live to regret donning the stupid MAGA cap. A Sessions debacle would be a perfect ending to a hateful, diabolical career.

(46,166 posts)Now it's just voicemail. I think Gardner is a lost cause. I wish Udall would run again. He may not be Mr. Dynamo but Gardner should be vulnerable since his best work is on his knees kissing ass.

I thought for two days maybe we could reach Gardner because his staff was saying he was "undecided" on DeVos, but in hindsight, that was just a punt to TRY to get all of callers off his butt.
