Good morning class... Please use "treason" in a sentence.

Example... Isn't it funny that the same FBI that worked in conjunction with the Russian Federation to elect 45, is now investigating some of campaign staff for Treason?

Or

In some countries, treason is punishable by death. Thank goodness the death penalty isn't practiced in America... oh wait...

It is treasonous for trump to praise Putin and lift sanctions; all the while his team is colluding with Russian intelligence.

But discussions of lifting sanctions may be treasonous...
Article III, Section 3:Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

There's no doubt that it's treasonous to conspire with Russian intelligence services without the knowledge of the U.S. government especially when you are seeking to change the political power in the country. The fact that we are currently in a war may also be problematic. When 43 declared his open ended War on Terror in 2001, he placed America in a condition of war ratified by Congress. President Obama then declared the Assad Regime as part of the War on Terror and the Russian Federation is allied with the Terrorist Assad Regime. As a result, any unlawful discussions with the Russian Federation must be investigated as a treasonous act and carry the full punishment of the law.
