Why would a American political Presidential campaign be in contact with Russian Intelligence operatives?
Any legitimate reason?

If a Presidential Candidate still had office for example, they might have to interact with them in their day job. None of that applies in this case though. It's relatively clear that Trump colluded with Russia for help in dealing with his political rival; which, no matter how you slice it, it's still pretty awful behavior - there's no way to finesse it.

What the heck would the Trump campaign be talking to Russia about during a busy campaign? The weather? How Trump's nasty weave looks? WTF?
