Social Security Day of Action - Thursday, February 16 at 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EST

February 16, 2017 is the day millionaires stop paying into Social Security for the rest of the year. Social Security champions from the Senate and House will be joining seniors and advocates to demand that the wealthiest pay their fair share into Social Security. If they pay in at the same rate as everyone else, we can expand benefits.

Elected officials:
Sen. Bernie Sanders (Ranking Member, Senate Budget Committee)
Sen. Ron Wyden (Ranking Member, Senate Finance Committee)
Rep. Peter DeFazio (D-OR)
Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL)
Rep. Raúl Grijalva
Other Senate and House Social Security champions

Organizations:
Social Security Works
Latinos for a Secure Retirement
The Center for American Progress
The Center for Economic and Policy Research
The Alliance for Retired Americans
The Arc of the U.S.
National Committee to Preserve Social Security & Medicare

if you haven't already.

I confess I wasn't familiar with SocialSecurityWorks, but I will look to them for info on this vital issue. They're also on Twitter.
