Chaffetz announcing investigation into LEAKS (on Fox). Also into Trump & co handling of info

Rep. Chaffetz is announcing on Fox that he is pushing the IG to investigate the source of the leaks (of course -- the republicans are so desperate to spin this story -- make it about the leaks), and also he wants Trump & co to be investigated for possible mishandling of classified info based on the photos of Trump & co at Mar-a-Lago. We all know that Chaffetz is very concerned about the handling of classified info (sarcasm).

The repubs are also now repeating the mantra that "these investigations haven't found anything nefarious" while ignoring the obvious -- Flynn didn't get fired/resign because of the media. The White House has been silent. And then there is the obviously rather massive story about their beloved leader and Trump campaign aides and their contacts with Russia...

Of course the republicans are desperate to spin this story. I am so glad that the incredible patriot Chaffetz, Mr. Endless Benghazi Hearings And Master of Wasting Taxpayer Dollars, has decided to dedicate his astonishingly energetic patriotism to this disaster.

going after the leaks is an obvious attempt to distract from the real issue (the NY Times apparently has nine or more background sources -- some of them may even be foreign governments, our allies, who picked up Trump team communications with Russia -- it is going to be very, very hard to track down all of these sources)
