This is really weird. I just saw a commercial for Little Caesars and was thinking I needed to look them up to see how they were politically. (So many of the pizza places are so wingnutty, I haven't had a carry out or delivery pizza in ages.) Then I come to DU and see my question answered before I can even ask it! Thanks!

Very good prices, pretty decent food, fast service!

It is nice to hear about the founders.

He was a good man and I learned he passed away back on the 10th. I hope his children have the same sense of charity.

Shop for salads and sandwiches, LC for pizza. The family is big community boosters, help fund projects like Detriot revitalization.

but I like Little Caesars on occasion.

I'll go pick up a Hungry Howie's every now and then too. But I don't know the national corp's politics. When I was much much younger (25+ years ago) I delivered for them and the politics then were get high and eat pizza.

If I want DELICIOUS effin pizza I'll go to Del Dio's or NYPD Pizza. But they cost a little more so I can't as often as I'd like. And even then, sometimes I get there and remember they both have fantastic eggplant parm so I get that instead.

The only other options are grocery store take-and-bake, frozen, or make-your-own. I usually opt for the latter, but I don't mind Little Caesar's in a pinch. Hard to beat it for five bucks.

She will take over for her dad, good. Both have been deeply involved in progressive causes in their community and the nation.
