Mr. Feinberg, who has close ties to Stephen K. Bannon, Mr. Trumps chief strategist, and Jared Kushner, the presidents son-in-law, declined to comment on his possible position. The White House, which is still working out the details of the intelligence review, also would not comment.

On an array of issues including the Iran nuclear deal, the utility of NATO, and how best to combat Islamist militancy much of the information and analysis produced by American intelligence agencies contradicts the policy positions of the new administration. The divide is starkest when it comes to Russia and President Vladimir V. Putin, whom Mr. Trump has repeatedly praised while dismissing American intelligence assessments that Moscow sought to promote his own candidacy.
If this goes forward, we need another march to clog the streets of America's cities. These assholes do NOT belong in the inner circles of our intelligence services.
This just keeps feeling more and more dire.

(16,884 posts)...enforcement authority? Does he or will he qualify for Security Clearances? Does this Feinberg think he can just go investigate and get information about and from the intelligence services?
Seriously? Is this even to be considered not a joke?

Who knew that the CIA, FBI and SEC did not manage their own IT? I assume that they regularly audit IT for those clients.

(29 posts)Had billion dollar+ contracts in Iraq to train police officers, among other things..that never ended up getting done. IT was not the bulk of it, from my understanding. He owns 18 or so arms and ammo manufacturers/co' s and private military bases.
Perhaps Trump thinks he can scare Intels with this guy. Who knows. If so, it is a dangerous game. Trump is a mental midget in 3d chess, methinks.
