Will ICE try to round up 20000 people in Chicago this weekend?

A dedicated resistor posted a copy on facebook today, from someone 'who has a contact inside ICE'. Said they will go after people in Chicago this weekend.

I do not want to spread panic, but also, if they are going to try something crazy, I hope it'll be unsuccessful. God.

If this is false information, please tell me and I will delete my post.

1)"One of my regulars has a contact inside ICE and just told me there are mass raids planned for Chicago this week. Round-up quota is 20k people. They're mostly targeting schools, churches, etc. One of the neighborhoods on the list was Pilsen."
2) "Homeland Security is checking IDs on the red line for Hispanic or Middle Eastern appearance, heads up everyone."

2. Are their 20,000 undocumented immigrants in Chicago?

That seem like an awful lot of people to round up in a weekend. You'd need like 80,000 ICE/LE agents.

The raid took place between Feb. 4 and Feb. 10. It nabbed 235 foreign nationals in Illinois and five other Midwestern states, according numbers released Monday by the Department of Homeland Security.

The arrests include 48 that happened in the Chicago area. Forty-five of those were convicted criminals for offenses ranging from DUI to criminal sexual assault and 20 of them had also previously been deported; 33 were from Mexico, one from Guatemala and one from El Salvador, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement Officials.

4. I don't think the number is possible

Logistics impossible. If there is a concerted effort in Chicago, I think that the number of actual arrests would be closer to 50 than 20000. I can't believe that there is this much disruption, pain and sorrow in such a short time. trump needs to be put out of power, fast.
Although, by bringing the level of hate in the U.S. to light, maybe somebody can find a way to reduce it. There is just no call for this to be happening. The last 8 years, DHS, Intelligence and other agencies kept us a lot safer than I feel right now.

5. I could see them focusing on Chicago - he's been spouting about it enough.

People are scared, and that is not good...hopefully someone isn't trying to just freak everyone out.

I'm unsure when to warn people or ignore a post.
Even if Chicago isn't going to be targeted this weekend, maybe people who defend immigrants can work on getting prepared.
Seems like there is just a wave of hate.

They're all either Green Card holders or natural born citizens, of course.

This shit has me worried about their safety.
