Another Day, Another Impeachable Act

http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2017/02/donald-trump-impeachable-offense

With all the impeachable acts he's already committed, there can't possibly be any way his Reign of Error DOESN'T end with his impeachment, can there? Republicans are spineless, but when they see that they will go down with the ship, they'll turn on him. And if they don't, the backlash will cause us to take back Congress in 2018 and we'll do it ourselves.

is if people that didn't bother voting in 2016 got out and voted. Drumf people are still drumf people, they are irrational and that won't charge, they will still vote GOP.

3. I Keep Thinking Back To The Anti-Republican/Anti-Bush Sentiment of 2008

Feb 2017

By that time, people were so fed up with Bush that Democrats swept races all up and down the ticket even in places where Democrats traditionally don't win. I know that here in Ohio, a lot of the State races were won by Democrats just riding that wave of "vote the bums out" sentiment. The sad part is that some of them were not particularly qualified for the jobs they won, and then in 2010 we had the Great Pout, where disgruntled Democrats stayed home in droves and we ended up with Kasich.

The point being, however, that I think only the most bed-wetting Drumpf supporters will STILL support him. We're only 3 weeks in and he's already eroded a healthy chunk of his voters. Imagine how bad it could get after 2 years.

I don't think they'll be so excited to come out and vote for him again. Many will see that he is "just another politician" and will not.

how it was tough to find anyone who would even own up to having voted for them. They brought down the economy and created an unnecessary war, so pretty awful, but trump is roaring out of the gate with pure craziness, possible treason, disorganization, pathological team lying, and probably won't produce those jobs folks were wanting. Instead, the GOP is lining the pockets of the billionaires and Wall Street again because they didn't learn anything from the Great Recession and are repealing what little was in place to protect the citizens against their greed. They're also salivating at the prospect of axing Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. They may say they had to cut those programs in order to pay for Trump's unnecessary wall, which is NOT the deal he made to his followers.

I have a hard time believing many Republicans will want to vote for these same losers if the economy tanks "bigly" again. Who knows what else will happen with Trump running the show, too. The pendulum should swing back. More Dems will get out and vote because we're fired up and are desperate to get the goons out, and Republicans either won't vote or will be so angry they'll vote for Democrats to stick it to the GOP. This is the risk the GOP is taking by ignoring the orange child with his menacing temper tantrums and sheer incompetence. They're not dummies, though, and probably will step in before we get too close to the next election. I can't imagine they'll ride the Titanic to the bottom.
