Sorry, I deleted my thread as several posters said that I misheard Trump who said "next door in "NC"
Obviously I've been here a very long time, and I like to post stories that seem to be important given our situation with the idiot in the White House. However the very, very last thing I want to do is to post something false or "fake news." So I thought I should delete the thread to prevent any accusations of "fake news." I made a mistake, and I apologize to others who took the time to reply to my post before I deleted it.
I listened to the speech live on CNN, and heard Trump talking to a (very carefully selected -- that part is definitely true!!!) group of South Carolinian attendees from the Boeing plant plus the usual associates and family members. I heard him speak about being first in flight and the Wright Brothers and the miracles of flight and SC is great and thank you for being awesome Boeing, and I did not hear him say "next door in North Carolina" when he mentioned the Wright brothers. Several posters brought this to my attention, and they stated that he did note that the first flight took place "next door" in NC. So I misinterpreted/misheard, and I thought it would be better to delete the thread instead of causing trouble or propagating fake news.
My apologies. It has been a very long few weeks if you know what I mean...
