Club members, guests and at least 64 foreign workers have unprecedented access to the president.
WASHINGTON ― House Democrats are asking three federal agencies to explain the security measures implemented at President Donald Trumps Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida to screen members, visitors and employees.
Rep. Katherine Clark (D-Mass.) sent three separate letters on Friday to the FBI, the Secret Service and the Department of Labor asking each agency to explain how they are handling security at the club that the president has visited in three of his first four weekends in office. The letters were signed by 32 House Democrats.
The letters come one week after Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe were photographed by Mar-a-Lago members while reviewing intelligence reports on the clubs public patio during a sensitive discussion about a missile test-fired by North Korea.

(8,884 posts)President Donald Trump may still beusing an unsecure Android smartphone, much to the chagrin of security professionals and at least one congressman, who is now calling for an investigation into the Presidents devices and cybersecurity practices.
The call comes from California Democratic Congressman Ted Lieu, who sent a letter to the House Oversight Committee accusing the President of having a reckless disregard for cybersecurity.
The letter, signed by 14 Democratic members of Congress, requests Chairman Jason Chaffetz and Ranking Member Elijah Cummings begin to hold hearings over Trumps ongoing use of an his Android smartphone, which he has continued to use since taking office and may present a national security risk.
