What do you think was discussed behind closed doors with James Comey?

I suppose a Democrat or two probably reminded him of his actions against Hillary just prior to the election?

Supposedly, it was intended to discuss the "Russian connection"?

It was a rather long meeting. Reports said about 3 hours.

Nobody said anything coming out of the meeting, which is the problem with secret meetings of the Congress and Senate. If someone says something, someone else will dispute it, and we never get to the truth for the people.

Before the meeting, Comey let it be known that no charges would be filed against General Flynn? What was going on with that?

1. If Comey said Flynn isn't being charged, maybe

that's because they made a deal with Flynn. FBI likes to turn the smaller fish in order to catch the big ones.

Bannon is why Dolt45 can't get anyone to fill Flynn's spot.

Skip my felony charge and I give you Bannon? Or Trump? Or both?

I'm thinking Bannon gave Flynn the order to make a sanctions deal for Trump, giving Trump deniability. Flynn was happy to do it.

4. One marginal possibility--

Maybe, just maybe, the FBI's expert personality profilers have focused on Trump's limitations and peculiarities.
That would take endless courage but is way overdue.

Had on THEM and their families, and if they didn't back off on Trump and his and the FBI's Russian masters, the FBI would start letting it dribble out.

11. 1)That there were no charges pending for Flynn, 2) that trump associates had been in contact

with Russia (obviously), but there was no evidence of collusion...that they've been investigating for months, but so far nothing.
3) Bits of the Buzzfeed dossier have been confirmed, but nothing of real value to show trump is compromised.

Flynn initially told investigators sanctions were not discussed. But FBI agents challenged him, asking if he was certain that was his answer. He said he didn't remember.
The FBI interviewers believed Flynn was cooperative and provided truthful answers. Although Flynn didn't remember all of what he talked about, they don't believe he was intentionally misleading them, the officials say.

A senior intelligence official told ABC News last night that no evidence gathered by the FBI so far suggests Trump associates knew they were talking to Russian intelligence officers. Those contacts being scrutinized by the FBI were first reported by The New York Times on Wednesday.

So far, they have only been able to corroborate insignificant parts of it, like whether one Russian official talked to another on the date listed in the memo. And there’s very little hard evidence to support the allegations — especially the more salacious ones — in the Steele dossier.

13. Would that require a multi-hour meeting?

That needs to be held in a secure, spy-proof room, and leaves all attendees silent and dead serious.

Whether or not they have anything actionable *yet*, I think this had to be about what they're looking into, what the FBI/CIA/NSA thinks is about to be found.

Out everything he had...which SO FAR didn't seem like much. There are a lot of investigations going back a long time...lots of questions too I would think.

And it involves all kinds of intelligence issues re: Russia etc...definitely classified stuff.
