3. It is our job to be the citizen press in these times

We know that journalists don't always have the freedom to determine how they will report news or what they will report. But we who are able to speak out must not be silent in the face of fascism.

We need to write letters to the editor. Write Congress Every day across the country. I know lots of DUers do this. It is a tough job defending democracy from evil men. If each of us vows to write just one letter a day. One post on a message board. One tweet. Every damn day.

And still we persist!

2. Well aren't they just sooooo courageous tweeting up a storm!!!

It's only when their own ox gets gored by Trump that too many of them start speaking truth to power instead of riding forever on the both sides do it train!

4. Let's do what we all can to direct our anger at the true evil

We know that some members of the press are not able to speak as freely as others because their voices are bought and paid for. Those of us who have not been silenced must speak up. We must read between the lines and shout out the truth.

Please please vow to spend more of your energy going after Trump rather than simply playing into Trump's false narrative. The press is not our enemy. Without them we would only know what Trump tells us is true.

5. The press has a lot to answer for. I'm not rolling over for them

simply because they're squawking now that they're in the hot seat. As soon as Trump makes any effort to make nice, all will be forgiven and forgotten.
