I didn't know that Cindy Sheehan's sister Dede died recently.

"I was only 11 months older than was she, so our parents always got us matching pjs for Xmas.

I suspected Christmas 2016 would be Dede’s last, so I got us matching jammies and took this final photo with her. She loved the pjs so much, but the gesture even better."

I didn't know much about Dede but she was always with Cindy.

1. I also was unaware of that.

I stood with her at the first camp and held her hand during one of the candle light vigils. She was a very nice woman. I, of course, cannot say that I knew her just that our short interactions and watching her with others showed to me a kind woman who felt what she and Cindy were doing was very important.
