Average income in U.S. $50,000...Republicans

grand roll out to replace ACA so far? Expand Saving accounts with tax benefits to be used in emergency situations.
This was brought to you By Paul Ryan and Mark Sanford.

Average family making 50 Grand? What fucking world do these guys live in.. Savings Account.. I make around 65 grand and I live by myself (Los Angeles).. I have no fucking savings that I can save for a medical emergency..Are you kidding..A broken bone, deductible is 2500, in my neck of the woods.

The Article I’m posting is great summary of Republican Ideas(Insurance Company Plans), From the Guardian:

Their ACA "replacement" is a bunch of Libertarian pipe dreams. Their health care plan is basically "get richer."

insurance premium?

$12,000 a year- what good insurance costs when one pays for it themselves, about $800-$1,000 a month for each premium payment.

There is no way to save enough for even a minor surgery, let alone cancer that costs over $100,000 to treat. So anyone that isn't making millions of dollars a year will die of cancer.

Someone about a week ago posted a power point showing how anyone making 50k would not be able to begin to afford even some mega deductible POS type plan for any lenght of time. With annual Premium hikes and just inflation would cause one to default.

That pays once a high deductible is met. You won't be on your own to pay for cancer.

Plowing $2,000 into a HSA probably only saves them about $400. Coming up with $1,600 isn't that easy. The savings are negligible. They just don't care.

In order to get these tax benefits you better have huge tax bills..

Food, Rent, Mortgages...Are they fucking insane? who can put a grand a month in a savings account
when you have mouths to feed, Rent to pay, Car payments? Give me a fucking break Paul Ryan...

be too terrified to lose your job to unionise, stir up trouble or ask for a raise because losing your job means you and your family lose health care.
