WATCH LIVE: UK Parliament debates whether to invite President Trump for official visit

http://www.rawstory.com/2017/02/watch-live-uk-parliament-debates-whether-to-invite-president-trump-for-official-visit/

The United Kingdom’s Parliament is debating right now on whether to formally invite President Donald Trump to the country for an official state visit.

On one side, anti-Trump MPs argue that Trump’s past statements slamming the free press, his own intelligence agencies, and the NATO alliance — not to mention his past racist and misogynistic remarks — mean that the U.K. should not invite him for an official visit.

Pro-Trump MPs, meanwhile, have argued that the U.S.-U.K. alliance is too important to allow for personal distaste of Trump to jeopardize it.

They are wobbling on the need to maintain satisfactory relations with the U.S., but they are also calling him out on everything.

Current speaker is saying that Trump does not represent the country's "shared values"...treatment of women, Islamophobia, every single piece of it is coming out.

I cringe every time I think about Tangerine Tinyhands visting Number 10 Downing Street. And even more when I think about the Queen having to be polite and hospitable to that disgusting uncouth clown.

Apologizing for Trump, arguing that if he comes to Britain and speaks, maybe they can influence him.

Like that will happen.

The speakers in favor of a Trump visit are old white guys. The speakers against are women.
