(28,787 posts)if it had been admitted-on-tape sexual abuse of authority on young pageant entrants, kissing women without permission or grabbing a pussy whenever the desire struck, he'd be elected president of the united states!
oh the hypocrisy of republicans deserves a book, or a collection of books, all by itself.
not that i'm whining on behalf of an apparent pedophile. it's the hypocrisy of republicans.

(82,849 posts)Boy, were they made when this dingbat got uninvited from his speaking engagement at Berkeley. I'll bet this makes them doubly mad to be so betrayed by CPAC! Right? Hello? Anybody there?

(8,282 posts)but I had never seen this guy before and I wanted to hear what he had to say. If you think I would go to Breitbart to find it, you've got to be crazy. I'd rather see him on Maher and got to see two guests tell him to fuck off. So it was worth it to me for Bill to have him on.
rogue emissary
(3,148 posts)Really, two guests telling Milo to F-off is worth elevating him to a national audience?
If you or anyone else wanted to learn about his views hit his twitter page. Hell, google the phrase "milo yiannopoulos views". You'll get twenty links to the Racist, homophobic, misogynist bile that he spews out.
There's nothing new with Milo's particular hate speech that I have heard and lived with my entire life.

(8,282 posts)providing a point of view besides the echo chamber we can all live in. If I had never heard of the guy before, why would I know to search for him?

(3,148 posts)you stated, "I had never seen this guy before and I wanted to hear what he had to say. If you think I would go to Breitbart . . . " So you had heard of him enough to know he worked for Breitbart.

(8,282 posts)I only go to right wing b.s. sites when I can handle it. Right now, I'm moving countries, my Mother is in ICU and I have enough stress. I'm glad Maher had him on because I didn't know boo about the guy except when I heard one person cancel their appearance on Maher because of him. That was the second time I heard of the guy. I kinda remember Berkeley riots and his name being mentioned but I believe that was a set up by right wing agitators right?

(3,148 posts)I'm still not sure why the college invited him in the first place. He's not an academic nor does he present any of his arguments with facts. Sorry to hear about your mom, I've been in the same situation recently, so hang in there. I wish you both the best.

(14,169 posts)Half of them hate gays and were looking for any excuse to cut him
The other half of them hate gays just as much but wanted to use him as a weapon against Democrats to show off their gay friend.
Milo himself is just an attention seeker who knows how much he'd stand out being gay and lavishing praise on the party that openly hates gays. Its sooooooooooo avant garde!

(860 posts)he is the slime from the video.
I am gross and perverted
I'm obsessed 'n deranged
I have existed for years
But very little has changed
I'm the tool of the Government
And industry too
For I am destined to rule
And regulate you
I may be vile and pernicious
But you can't look away
I make you think I'm delicious
With the stuff that I say
I'm the best you can get
Have you guessed me yet?
I'm the slime oozin' out
From your TV set
You will obey me while I lead you
And eat the garbage that I feed you
Until the day that we don't need you
Don't go for help . . . no one will heed you
Your mind is totally controlled
It has been stuffed into my mold
And you will do as you are told
Until the rights to you are sold
That's right, folks . . .
Don't touch that dial
Well, I am the slime from your video
Oozin' along on your livin' room floor
I am the slime from your video
Can't stop the slime, people, lookit me go

(2,312 posts)Convicted (then pardoned) felon Oliver North speaks at CPAC all the time. What's the big deal?
klook
(12,154 posts)When you are too vile for CPAC, that's really saying something.
I won't quote this scumbag here, but after reading a USA Today piece quoting him on this and other issues, I feel like I just drank a quart of syrup of ipecac.
On edit: "Imprecise language" my ass! That's like saying "I misspoke," or "I'm sorry if anyone was offended," when you knew exactly what you were saying and had no qualms about it until you had to pay some price for your assholery.
