As we rejoice in this fuckwads demise, lets not forget that what was just promoted was the most horrid of attacks on the LGBQT community. Religious wingers have spent a long time working to link pedophilia with homosexuality. It is a tactic that has worked for them.

We should fight fire with fire. In one breath Milo makes it about being gay and claims that there is a link to pedophilia. In the next breath he makes comment about his priest being one of the reasons he give such good head. He did not link the priest with being gay. From his own argument I would instruct him he is making the case that pedophilia comes about from religious zealotry.

I'm happy as could be that this guy has been taken down a notch. That said, my heart sinks every time I hear someone connecting homosexuality to pedophilia. I think there is a lot more to this Milo piece of shit than we know. It's like he is on script.

The Jude Law/Pope character is a conservative who at first hardens the Church's stance against homosexuality, wanting to rid all gay priests from the Vatican and beyond, but by the end comes to comprehend clearly how the problem of child molestation that plagued the Church is totally different from sexual orientation. D'oh.

But as I said, the whole thing was surreal and kind of crazy, but so beautifully filmed and acted that it was worth binge-watching.
