There is no Deep State in DC trying to evict Trump from the Oval Office. He's doing that all by himself.http://observer.com/2017/02/donald-trump-administration-cia-deep-state/
The Russia angle is most troubling to the IC. Behind closed doors, plenty of American intelligence experts believe that President Trump is the pawn of the Kremlin, wittingly or not, and assess that its only a matter of time before unseemly Moscow ties are exposed and the White House enters unsurvivable political crisis.
Rebellion is brewing in Washington. The resignation of the CIAs spokesman, a career intelligence analyst, is a sign of how fragile IC morale has gotten under the new administration. If President Trump keeps upping the ante in his war on the spies, he can expect more damaging leaks to reach the media. Leaks happen in every administration, and Nixons ignominious fall ought to serve as a cautionary tale to any president who thinks he can find the right plumbers to fix the leaky faucet

(7,429 posts)But there's no clear path to sanity since Trumpy still is president and has control over all of the news cycles. And Bannon still has several tricks up his sleeve. So we all have to hope that every day doesn't end with Trumpy ordering an unprovoked nuclear attack.

(8,361 posts)It seems Trump has left no one happy and the fight I am watching for is who will win the war against Bannon, Sebastian Gorka, Stephen Miller and the ethno-nationalist-white supremacist agenda. I am hoping it will be Mad Dog and McMaster and they'll purge Bannon and company not only from the NSC but then the White House too.
These are despicable, dangerous people and no one should trust Trump's family, their job is to try and normalize his agenda.
