Sessions wants to revoke protections for transgender students. Betsy DeVos doesn't. Trump sides with Sessions

long to begin to rip apart anti-discrimnation law. I'm surprised it has taken this long. He's been building up for those election/citizenship tests for elections.

45 "trumped" her per press; I think they gave her cover to modify her public ultra conservative image based on her history.

On the other hand, maybe she has family members that are LGBT, and this issue is real for her.

I do not believe this fake "news" item for a second that tries to make DeVos look good when the end result is no change.

Perhaps that is why the administration put many naive unqualified for their positions in charge (DeVos, Carson, etc.). They can easily be steamrolled.

Personally I would think the overly "Christian" DeVos would have no problem discriminating against transgendered students. She probably just wants to avoid the hatred she already feels coming from those truly devoted to education.
