Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsIs DRUMPF's praise of ELLISON an attempted or real *kiss of death*?!1
Given DRUMPF's neediness for anything positive about him, when he said that ELLISON had early on predicted he/DRUMPF would win, on the surface it looks like his usual craving for (his perception: ) approval from wherever.
Or, (I'm paranoid now) is he attempting to interfere in our Dem election a la PUTIN - from either direction to sabotage or to "help" that one.

Even references at DU to TRUMP can be marketing opportunities fro the TRUMP brand.

(36,816 posts)and some are buying into it from what I have seen today (thank goodness for trash thread). He probably would have been called a concern troll (like Moore was, though Moore was talking about the general and Ellison was talking about the primary).
Whatever happens on Saturday, we sure as shite need to close ranks.

(5,811 posts)I will accept him if he wins but I don't think it would be good for the party. Tom Perez or Pete Buttigieg would be the best choice. However, my first choice is Tom Perez because of his excellent family background and his own life of public service and leadership.
I'm more practical than ideological.

(24,757 posts)which would make him a part-time DNC chair, at best.
I favor Perez because he'd a a full-time--make that double-time--chair and that's what we need to counter the GOP attacks on American values, democracy, freedom, the Constitution, and the rule of law.

(41,956 posts)So I checked my feelings when I read Trumps damned-with-faint-praise statement about Ellison and I found it did bias me a bit--mostly because of the contentious primary.
So I checked myself again--because I refuse to be manipulated by that madman--I am actually warmer towards Ellison than I was.
