Less than five weeks into his presidency, Trump has an approval rating of 38 percent and a disapproval rating of 55 percent.
Trumps approval is a slight uptick from where it stood in Quinnipiacs Jan. 26 survey, but 4 points lower than just two weeks ago. Meantime, his disapproval rating has climbed steadily from 44 percent days after he took office to 51 percent on Feb. 7 and 55 percent Wednesday.
A majority of respondents said Trump is not honest (55 percent), doesnt have good leadership skills (55 percent) or care about everyday Americans (53 percent), isnt level-headed (63 percent), doesnt share their values (60 percent) and is doing more to divide the country than unite it (58 percent). Strong maybe... though it's all for show. You only lie about yourself when the truth doesn't feel good enough... He projects strength... he's not strong. Obama was strong and didn't need to posture. This guy is all hat and no cattle...

How could 64% think he is intelligent

(4,079 posts)5. I think it was 58% but if they were to ask separately...
They asked strong and intelligent... and he does project strength. It depends on how the question was presented... I serious doubt America thinks he's an egg head. If asked in isolation, Is 45 intelligent? The result may yield different results.
