My heart hurts for them, for myself, and everyone like us out there. We're the working people who make money, but we're not rich enough to pay for coverage of our pre-existing conditions. We're all going to die now. I know it was a given before Obamacare, but there was a glimpse of something better, and a hope of not leaving our spouses destitute after our passing. Even if only for a brief time.

Even those with good medical coverage can be impoverished or bankrupted by medical costs. This is supposedly the richest nation in the world. Why do we tolerate this?

Voter ID laws, Crosscheck, redistricting, insecure voting recording/tabulating systems...they're just fine tuning the process now.

I've been around awhile and I've never seen anything like these town halls. CNN just showed a large redneck man in Louisiana being dragged out of a town hall while telling his GOP senator "You're gone in 2020."

It will take a tidal wave to wrest control of the senate but I think the house and some governor seats are ripe for the picking in 2018 if this energy can be channeled.
