We're waaaaay past the time for infighting. To do so now will only result in our own demise. The focus needs to be on opposing Trump and taking on the GOP. I truly believe Buttigieg would provide that focus.

I must admit I liked the fact that Harrison had been poor at some time in his life. I have always felt that means they truly understand the larger percentage of the Americans. I am not saying the larger percentage of Americans are poor but it does give them a better idea of reality. I have always had a hard time feeling bad for the middle class because the ones who are ignored the most are the working poor. I think Harrison would do well remembering them. From what I have seen and heard though it looks like Ellison is more likely to get in and I would vote for him.

again on national TV. He doesn't have a chance anyway, which is good. Many talented people there, work together so we can win in 2018 and then the presidency in 2020. There is so much on the line I could not stand to listen to the primary war again. I thought, is he kidding me! Trump and Bannon in the White House and you want to keep fighting.

My 2 cents, if he was going to say anything at all it should have been to be honest and say, for some people this issue will not be settled. What adults do next, we focus on what we can do now. It is dishonest to delve into it as if the rift is the reason the debate was held. The purpose was to listen to who would be best to serve the DNC chair going forward. It is dishonest to even suggest our problems began and ended with some feeling slighted over the primary process and blame Debbie and Hillary.

We have been losing and our losses pre-date DWS and Hillary running for president. It was not their fault, and we want to win, so lets do x y and z to get there.

He pissed me off, rant over. lol

I have concerns that he's going to be a continuation of the current coastal/urban centered status quo (and I don't think anybody would deny that the party's trajectory in terms of seats won since 2009 has been nothing short of disastrous), but I have enough reservations about the other candidates to basically decide to go with the "safest" choice.

... He is a compromise between the two main factions in the party. We've got to unify!

... He's young. (I'm 72. I get to say stuff like that.)

... I've finally learned how to pronounce his name! Boot-a-judge.... Hmmm...yeah, some of those Republican judges... It's Maltese. Malta has its own ethnic group, from Arab origins.
