To Mexico: Just refuse to accept deportees that aren't Mexican citizens.

Refuse. Don't let them be dumped in Mexico.

In fact, before accepting anyone being deported from the United States, make the US prove that each and every one of them is a Mexican citizen. How? Well, force the US to provide birth certificates, Mexican passports or other documents that establishes them as Mexican citizens.

You do not have to allow the United States to dump anyone they want across your border. You shouldn't, in fact. Who knows? The Trump administration might try to dump criminals who are U.S. Citizens on you, as long as they, you know, "look Mexican."

It's your border. Don't allow the United States to violate it by sending people who are not your citizens there. Just say no! The United States does not allow the Mexican government to transport people into the United States without proof that they belong here. Just do the same when our government tries to unload undocumented people into Mexico.

That's my advice, and I hope you take it.

Sincerely,

A Bona Fide American

That would make Trump a human trafficker.

On the other hand, they owe to their citizens to accept them and shorten the transition.

So they do have a responsibility to quickly determine who their citizens are. I assume that the Mexican embassy in the US would take this on.

Conversely, if they deport anyone to the US that looks like an American, America has the responsibility to quickly determine whether or not that person is an American. The American embassy in Mexico should take this on.

This information should be transparent and visible to all citizens of the US and Mexico in real time.

I'd expect that obligations of the U.S. and Mexico regarding deportees is spelled out in treaty agreements, and likely neither country would be obligated to accept deportees other than its own citizens.

That will upset Trump's little plan to dump all brown people ICE finds in Mexico.
