especially those with monarchies or which are recovering from overthrowing monarchies.

The people who shame me are the goons who support him.

of Americans.

Instead of being embarrassed, I'm impressed at how people are standing up to him and the repubs.

And I think most people in other countries realize that most of us aren't crazy and that Trump got to be president only because of a weird, archaic quirk in our election procedures.

I'd only be embarrassed if I were a Republican, but I think most of them are incapable of feeling shame.

As such, he can be completely useless and it won't faze me in regards to what other people who don't know me think.

If I gave a damn what other people thought of such and such group because of such and such person, I'd be the biggest racist in history. Individual people are individually accountable, full stop.

And I'm sure opinions and feelings may fluctuate.
I'm embarrassed by our election process that installed the popular vote loser as president.
I'm embarrassed by the morons (my fellow Americans) who voted for and support him.
I'm embarrassed by our elected(repuglican) senators and congressman behavior; from refusing to consider a supreme court nominee last year to refusing to investigate the president for violations of emoluments and more.
And sometimes I feel abused and hope for rescue from any source.(save us!)
But mostly I'm appalled and incensed, and engaged in the battle that is really a war.
So he's an embarrassment, but he does not make me embarrassed. He makes me angry and fearful and fierce!

I cried with laughter with some of the "missing" signs people made to stick on milk cartons with their Reps who won't hold town halls. One group put a missed connections listing on Craigslist.

Americans are a creative, sarcastic, and deliciously petty group this week, and it is giving me life.

Trump doesn't define us.
