Marco Rubio calls his constituents "Rude and Stupid"

Marco Rubio Says People ‘Get Rude And Stupid’ At Town Halls
The Florida Republican says that’s why he won’t be holding any.

When a constituent confronted Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) Thursday about why he wasn’t holding a town hall event during this week’s congressional recess, Rubio gave what seemed an honest answer.

“I don’t know man, because town halls, people get rude and stupid ― on both sides,” the senator told the man.

A community organizer for the Florida chapter of the Service Employees International Union tweeted a video of the encounter, which happened in a lecture hall at Florida International University, where Rubio teaches a class. The questioner appears to be Rafael Velasquez, a member of the Florida Democratic party’s board of trustees.

Aren't the Republicans special little snowflakes?

Snowflakes are gentle, beautiful things. Each unique. Republicans are evil turds. Walk in lockstep, leading us to the slippery slope down to the Bowels of Hell. When was the last time a snowflake did that for you??

Or why the bill made it impossible for ACA to fulfill its promises long term.

political opportunity for taking his seat. He is too stupid to read the writing on the wall and we do not have to wait until 2024. He doesn't know how to deal with the angst his people feel. So he insults them, dismisses them. It doesn't take a lot of time and money to field the voters there, they're telling you what they think of him. Use his own words against him, find a challenger who with an honest message through OP'Eds writes in the local press. Should Rubio Resign? He Sounds Unprepared to Lead. See what the response is, the Democrats need to be aggressive and not let these opportunities slide by. You cull voters, in this case they sound ripe for the taking. We have nothing to lose by trying.

As you may note in my response it is the second time today.

to the curb so bad, they'll be afraid to put up a challenger. How much closer to fascism do we want to get? The Republicans in power now, we must make clear, they're supporting a white supremacist agenda, NOT Democrats. That is un-American and we should not be shy about our stand against it. Sorry for the rant, I can't take it and its only a month in. Members of the press were singled out to be excluded today, enough!
