and he speaks in black/white terms without messy shades of grey. That's a great part of it.

It's simple language directed at simpletons, which is why they all say "He says what he means."

Complex language and nuance sound like doubletalk to them.

Education has been dumbed down for far too long.

on an episode of Wait Wait Don't Tell Me during the campaign.. he said, "I think Hillary Clinton is wrong about almost everything, but she's wrong within normal parameters. I'll vote for her." Now, that's an adult making an adult decision.
