(21,946 posts)4. I've advocated that for a long time. Representatives can only raise money
in their own district, Senators only in their own state, and President would be allowed to raise money in the whole country.
Maybe Representatives and Senators would be more attentive to what their constituents are saying if that's the only source of their campaign money.
