In other words, have him knock off all the exaggerations, parodying, caricature stuff. Tone down the exaggeration of the mannerisms, etc.

Have him be "grown up >Redacted<"- with good humored, self-deprecating laughter. A brilliantly written, adult stand-up of his own, poking fun at all the chaos and controversy.

In other words, all the things we'll never, ever see from the occupant of the post 1/20/2017 Whitey House.

Give people a chance to see what they thought they were voting for- the "real" Trump that would emerge after the campaign was over.

Compare, and contrast.

That would sting the DicktaterTot as no parody ever could.
