Witness this post that seems unwilling or unable to refocus on the work already happening post DNC election. As you say, you're hardly alone.

Didn't even bother to look for other posts. And no, I haven't been "paying attention" to those who think indulging in unending verbal hostilities with others who enjoy unending verbal hostilities (on social media forums, for god's sakes!) is a good use of their political energy. The "ignore" function is very effective.

And after having let irritation draw me into the mudfighting again, I'm out.

There are countless complaints here that he's too "Establishment," his election is a sellout, blah blah but I haven't seen any explanation about why he's supposedly so unacceptable. I'm just asking for one.

Or else this is the first OP you've read about the DNC election, so you're kind of in the dark about how Perez has been getting trashed on DU over the past couple of days.

this one of yours and my own. I must admit I do use the ignore function. Mostly I used it only against the die hard hillary supporters and gun nuts. Amazing what that tells me.

I could care less those who can figure out who some of those I ignore are too

election a primary do over...and Bernie wanted Ellison. So now they are all over twitter threatening to take their ball and go home...there was a thread here...trashed it. The primary is over people. Trump is the enemy not the Democratic Party...we just had a victory in Delaware that shows us what we can accomplish if we unite...time to move on into the future. We need to beat Trump soundly and all the evil Republicans...we have got this. And let me say to any of your who won't give Perez a chance...you are wrong about this and play into Trump's hands. He has already tweeted how the election was 'rigged'...sound familiar?

For real. These people think anyone who worked in the Obama admin is establishment. They have what they think is the "truth" and real critical thinking and KNOW IT ALLS!

Some of these people couldn't find their way out of a paper bag if their life depended on it.

Some things are not ever supposed to change, like compassion, freedoms and helping those in need. And if that's being too establishment, then we should all be that way.

Perez, like any leader will wear many hats and intermingle with all factions. Why would any Democrat want to limit our political future to one narrow ideological spectrum? He must be at least as much pro establishment as he is anything else because that's where the powerful leaders of the party, as well as all of our allies and partners from the major groups that traditionally support Democrats, are vested.

If you didn't support Bernie Sanders you are an establishment tool. That is on the mind of many.

He however has spent a life time fighting for the little guy. But we can't ever allow facts to enter into the conversation.
