Why is everyone blathering about about Oscar flubs when we should be discussing uniting the party?

Celebrity culture posts are even expressly forbidden:

SHOWBIZ
Threads about showbiz/celebrity culture which do not have a political angle are not permitted under normal circumstances and should be posted under Entertainment.

I have serious concerns that the establishment is setting us up for bitter losses in '18 and '20, and I feel morally obligated to not be silent about the repeated shunning of the progressive wing of the party.

either voting third party or not voting?

In Michigan Hillary lost by .3%. Jill Stein received 1.1% of the vote.

Similar results in Wisconsin, and other critical swing states that would have made a difference.

Every Democrat running for Senate in a swing state lost to the ESTABLISHMENT, incumbent, republican, and most of those Democrats were progressive

I get so f'in tired of people around here telling everyone else that they're not allowed to just breathe and enjoy life once in a while. Someone ought to be smart enough to realize that too much focus for too long will inevitably lead to burnout and apathy. Dumb to chastise people in that fashion.

All because Perez wasn't Bernie's choice? Ellison spoke eloquently about the importance of unity on Sat. Why have you decided not to listen to the man whose candidacy for DNC chair you decided so much rides on? Or was it never about issues or even Ellison at all?

Sorry the DNC election did not go your way, though Ellison WAS made co-chair, which should hardly be looked at as being "shunned". If you want unity, now's the time to accept the outcome and look forward to working with Perez and Ellison to start winning again. We're not even talking about the election of an actual President here but even if we were, we could STILL do a lot worse than Perez/Ellison (the current WH occupant for instance).
