Just a thought. I would.
He's not a legitimate president anyways.

(63,836 posts)but I will be here for the comments to those who are brave enough to watch this stupid man/child.
I would love to hear the Democrats cry out Liar, but there will be a lot of tension there. Did he even say he was going to give a SOTU? Bannon is probably going to do his so called speech.

(5,591 posts)Being in the position he is. I RESIST but it still is like this hideous alternate universe of the outer limits. Most days I can find something to distract from the gawd awful danger that threatens us every second under the oafish thuggery of not only this lethal fool, but the vile Party in power.
The lack of humanity is soul crushing. A lingering toxic mushroom cloud of hate just rolling in to consume most that is civil and decent.
It is becoming harder to fight the wretchedness of what they are doing. It is also harder to stop my own hatred of them from damaging my psyche.
I want the Democrats to break this vile man into smithereens. But I have scary doubts.
It will make me vomit to even acknowledge that f'ing malignant megalomaniac will be standing in front of Congress at the same podium as ANY of the past men holding the temporary position of leader of the free world.
Having half the room empty or half the room booing?
Hard choice.
But i want the slug to be mentally crushed.
I will not be watching. It will make me physically ill.

I think it would be more effective to attend, but face him with stony silence. No handshakes, no standing, no applause, just silence.
