People praising him for that speech last night are high or insane

Big freaking deal- he's able to read from a Teleprompter! OMG so Presidential.
Not at all.

1. He used the widow
2. It was tacky
3. I thought her applauding for the man responsible for her husbands death was sad. I empathize with her 100% and understand the choice was hers, but it's a shame.

Being able to point to people in the room as victims or survivors of XY and Z doesn't make someone Presidential.
Their policies and DAILY demeanor and behavior show you a hell of a lot more than a speech THEY DIDN'T FUCKING WRITE.

This tweet sums up my opinion on last nights talking heads and their reactions. Van Jones should be ashamed. He's not- but he should be.

They were plotzing all over the place saying how awesome & "presidential" she looked. All she did was read some goddamned words on a screen & that's all Dolt 45* did tonight.

There is an ocean of difference between LOOKING presidential and BEING presidential.

Jesus H. Christ, people are so goddamned shallow.

Someone needs to take the "bar" and shove it where the sun don't shine. Why wasn't first "lady" Ivanka on the podium with him? She seems to be glued by his side most of the time, getting camera time. Remember how Nancy Reagan shadowed Saint Ronnie? We found out later about the Alzheimers. tRump is building a helicopter pad at Mar-A-Lago, to avoid motorcading through protesters in Florida!! Helicopter One will fly down there every weekend. This waste of space will bankrupt the country before he even is in office 6 months.

said his speech was Bannon's on steroids.

WE better dig our heals in hard, this will embolden these SOB's even more. Ryan and McConnell are breathing a sigh of relief, there are plenty of articles to read.

He is a fucking con man with Bannon on his side.
