Mike Rogers, former FBI agent, etc, just told Sessions, Russian Ambassador, what to say

about why Sessions had meetings with Kislyak. He told him to use the excuse that the US is concerned about drugs in Afghanistan, security there, and what is Russia doing about it.

A teeny, tiny lie, even one to protect one's marriage, even one based on differing definitions of the word "sex", even one in a deposition in an unrelated matter in the midst of a larger witchhunt...even those lies are grounds for impeachment....aren't they?

the republicans, including Sessions, are deeply complicit in treason against The United States of America by engaging with the russians to f*ck up the 2016 election - not just giving the republican Draft Dodger the Offal Office, but also giving the KGOP control of the Senate.

The whole freaking election was illegitimate, and the republican White House, the Senate, and a big fat freaking chunk of the republican House is ILLEGITIMATE.

That's why the Bible-humping Sessions blithely VIOLATED the Ten Commandments again, lied committed perjury before the United States Government, and shit his pants.

... it was out of the ordinary for him to do so ... TWICE !!!

I have no doubt the Russians hacked the DNC polling data that made it look like they were doing fine in Obama purple areas of the states lead by KGOP governors.

that they hacked at least the Michigan election. You can not tell me that Republiklans won after the debacle that is Flint. Caused by a repupubliklan governor and his appointees. Then tried to cover it up. Republiklans in the senate refused to send aid to Flint. So the state voted for more of that? I don't think so.

The excuse was being created and publicly dissemminated.

But I'm hoping the lying will be enough, and maybe they'll dig a deeper hole for themselves.

I'm concerned that tapes may not have anything other than setting up meeting times.

I wonder if there were more than two meetings.

meeting only, at a Heritage Foundation gathering. A TV conduit (forget, ABC or Fox morning news) reported Sessions claimed he met at a gathering along with dozens of governors.

That Infowars is denying it this soon is significant. Right wing fake News sources will avoid reporting these things altogether if they can.

Btw, analysts of left-wing fake news sources report that, yes, they are proliferating big time, but most (not all), like the Palmer Report, are pushing "wish fulfillment" stuff, Trump about to be impeached, or fake reports of tweets from rebelling government insiders, that sort of thing. Not the noxious poisons being fed to the right. Except for reports meant to undermine confidence in mainstream Democrats, and even those tend to be twists and distortions rather than all-out lies.

...he decided to lie about the meetings. Drugs, wrong minded terrorism concerns, creating a sister city relationship between Birmingham and Minsk...every one of them valid.

But when asked by a sitting US Senator during confirmation hearings about whether he met with the Russian Ambassador...instead of saying yes, he said no.

After that - the why doesn't matter. Everything else is window dressing.

FBI helped Flynn avoid charge of lying to FBI because after Flynn first flat-out lied to FBI about his discussions with Kislyak, they doubled down questioning him on that until he got the hint that they already knew, so he changed and fudged his answer.

Then after his firing, Repub wagons circled (WH and even Stephen Hadley of Bush WH) protecting Flynn saying that even if he had talked about sanctions it wasn't illegal

Dem Congressman Tim Ryan was quite good on CNN this morning, condemning the constant denying and lying by the Trump gang until they get caught and change their stories.

the big part of the picture of the opioid problem is that the last republiCON administration sent in a bunch of young kids to where the poppies grow by the fields. Lot of them came home with problems, opium problems, heroin etc.

But they give me a hard time cause I have a genuine need for pain meds rather than admit where the problem is and what caused it.

I remember what Vietnam did to a bunch of us too. We were turned on to pot. When I graduated from high school I never heard the word marijuana, if I had I don't remember it, but shortly afterwards I was in the land of lots of killer reefer. Yeah some of us had to find a way to remove ourselves from the worries of not coming home in one piece or at all so we started smoking. The thing with pot was the hyper sensitivity that it afforded those who partakes and how it was a good thing beings as where and what our mission was. Which was to kill as many of the poor natives as we could. When it comes right down to it that is. I know that is a harsh way of putting it but truth comes is easy for me
