He knew. Ryan knew. McConnell knew. Conway knew. Bannon knew. The Mercer family knew. (and Flynn knew) Tillerson can't be that big of an idiot, so with his own ties to Putin, he has to know.

Pence told Ryan and McConnell, most likely. I think Pence tells them both everything and they use the information in whatever way suits their own agenda.

And if McConnell knows, then his wife knows. McConnell is in the position to tell her to resign before it gets too bad.

The leaks are plentiful in the WH because most of them answer to someone else other than Trump. Trump's ego is such that he would be the last to know that his "loyal" workers aren't that loyal to him. Trump will and has blamed others for leaks....Obama, the media, democratic operatives.

But I think a lot of those leaks are because many on Trump's team don't actually work for Trump.
