Graham is even defending Sessions now saying its crazy to entertain the idea of him resigning. I think these anti-Trump republicans originally went along with the Dems hoping to derail Trump and possibly help out Pence, but here's the problem. Pence's fingerprints are all over this too, along with many other members of the Trump cabinet, to the extent that it's become impossible to isolate Pence from Trump.
The main problem is that this is causing the Trump White House (including Pence) the lack of an ability to govern, so even traditional pro-republican policies that Mccain and Graham like are being blocked thanks to this.
They're beginning to realize that they're stuck with Trump one way or another. Don't be surprised when Mccain and Graham start calling for an early end to the investigation, saying that nothing happened. Remember, they're party loyalists first.

(42,641 posts)One hopes that as more and more information about the Trump Administration's many Russian connections is exposed, this will finally show his deluded followers that Trump has no loyalty to anything but himself.

(2,198 posts)Graham and McCain won't be able to walk it back. Too much is out there and somewhere along the line there is a whistle-blower making a deal right now...setting up witness protection plans etc.
I still say there are other 45 surrogates who met either in Russia or in other places with Russian surrogates, oligarchs, or officials.
Another drip just dropped about an hour ago re a previously undisclosed meeting between Flynn, Kushner and Russian amb.
