Tonight, Rachel reported that she received a lengthy leaked document, verified by the Dept of Homeland Security.

The report presented the detailed findings of an analysis by career DHS analysts.

The key conclusion is that Trump's extreme vetting is worthless. The reason: Refugees coming hinto the US are not radicalized when they enter the US. Instead, those who are likely to commit terrorist acts become radicalized while they are in the US.

Those individuals are not parents who enter the US. Instead, those who are radicalized are the CHILDREN OF REFUGEE PARENTS. The parents themselves are not radicalized nor do they become radicalized.

So the report essentially suggests that Trump's refugee ban policy is worthless.

The segment is probably on her website by now. Well worth watching.

Footnote: Andrea Mitchell discussed the report with Rachel, offering actions that could prevent this radicalization from happening. Mitchell, IMHO, made a worthwhile contribution to the issue.
