By 2006 his favorable ratings were in a nose dive and the GOP was crushed in the mid terms with the Dems gaining control of the house and senate. Only trouble was it came 2 years too late, though it still affected his last 2 years and his legacy.

I tell people that the Bush-Cheney FRAUD WAR cost American taxpayers TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS, killed HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of innocent women and children and destabilized the Middle East for the next TWO HUNDRED YEARS.

That usually shuts them up.
