The Russian Ambassador visited Trump Tower

Between the election and inauguration (as reported on Rachel Maddow's show). How is it that we didn't hear about this at the time? The press were parked there, telling us about Steve Harvey and every other celebrity that turned up, but they didn't notice or think to report about the Russian Ambassador?

Or did I miss it?
