Breaking: St. Louis man arrested in anti-Semitic bomb threat case

Police have arrested a St. Louis man accused of making at least eight threats against Jewish Community Centers (JCCs) and schools across the country.

The suspect, Juan Thompson, has been charged by federal authorities with making the threats — some in his name and some in the name of an ex-girlfriend he’s accused of cyberstalking.

of Hunter Thompson. Different people living in different places and of different ages.

Be very careful when researching people whose names are in the news. You'll get it wrong more often than you get it right.

So far, the only media outlets who have identified a particular individual are not the most trustworthy. There are, no doubt, hundreds of Juan Thompsons out there.

I dislike this immediate jump to posting photos, etc., before much has been confirmed. It has happened far too often that the wrong person gets a bunch of publicity.

I wish we'd stop doing that until things are certain and verified by trustworthy sources.
