and Dems in Congress have been complaining that they can't get info from Comey and can't proceed on their investigation without more info from FBI

This recent CNN article talks about Steel and the FBI investigation. There have been previous reports that Steele didn't understand why FBI was dragging their feet

22. I said last summer, that the FIRST thing Obama should have done,

the day after the election, regardless of who won, was to fire comey. had he done that, whoever was head of the fbi, could've established a strong investigation, with three months' momentum, one that would have been difficult to ignore, even if trump tried to install the new FBI head ASAP. given what would have come out during that time, whoever he nominated would have faced a protracted hearing, and the dominoes would have kept falling.

of all the things Obama failed to do during his presidency, I fault him by far the most for this. Initech had it exactly correctly a few posts above this. what's left of our republic is in the most peril it's experienced since Lincoln fucked up and kept the south from leaving.....such good riddance that would have been.
