So I replied, and informed him about the plan to gut Medicare, Medicaid, and SS, and hand the money off to billionaires in tax cuts. I said nothing in the conversation about gay people and have no idea why he included them in his response.
So then I told him about Paul Ryan.

(1,822 posts)cause thats what you're doing, wasting your time. he said, if nothing effects him Trump will be the best pres ever. he's made up his mind. trump could wreck alot of things, lie, have ties to russia, but this guy has determined that if its doesnt effect him it wont matter. thats a low bar and you can try all you want, he wont listen.

(5,499 posts)My brother in law (wife's brother) is a crazy wingnut christian who drives to work every morning with one eye toward the sky looking for signs of "the end times." He actually told me that. They are poor. Four kids. Oldest daughter has two, and one on the way, that my brother in law and his wife are raising. 45 would spit on them if he walked by them on the street. Yet they just love him to death. My wife and I refuse to be around them. They are toxic.
