Maggie Haberman: "Trump was known for years to tape calls in his own offices" (so he's projecting)

A couple of enlightening tweets from the NYT's WH correspondent:

Trump was known for years to tape calls in his own offices. And during campaign, staffers fretted their offices were bugged.

This is the prism through which he approaches the concept of taping and presidential power.

http://www.dmlp.org/legal-guide/new-york-recording-law

New York's wiretapping law is a "one-party consent" law. New York makes it a crime to record to record or eavesdrop on an in-person or telephone conversation unless one party to the conversation consents. N.Y. Penal Law §§ 250.00, 250.05. (link is to the entire code, you need to click on the Penal Code section, then choose Article 250 and locate the specific provisions). Thus, if you operate in New York, you may record a conversation or phone call if you are a party to the conversation or you get permission from one party to the conversation in advance. That said, if you intend to record conversations involving people located in more than one state, you should play it safe and get the consent of all parties.

He's got loads in Florida at his "Little Russia" as well as Trump Tower. All paying top dollar in cash.

Here's hoping that works out as well for Cheeto Benito as it did for Nixon.

There have been stories about Trump recording his calls because of his lack of trust with people. And the President is prohibited from ordering wire taps. Believe these so taps were FBI taps that were reported in the Foreign Press.

Like one Congress Person said,if the FBI went to court to get a FISA order, you are in deep shit my friend. Looks like the President looked at his polling numbers and needed to Stage a event as damage control. Believe Our Retired Past President has a major Media event on Tuesday or Wednesday announcing his involvement with and in Organizing America Movement. Is this why Donnie feels threatened?
