calling for investigation into the Russia/trump ties are is exactly what he is calling for.

I think he's saying that Trump either needs to put up or shut up, or if it's FISA we need to find out what trump did that was so bad it needed a FiSA tap.

That's how I read it too. Also, based on Wikipedia, he was ready to vote for Clinton or a third party candidate ahead of Trump, so doesn't appear to be a fan.

is possibly opened up the can of worms for all to see. A FISA court order is something that is usually highly secretive. By him bringing it out in public he has essentially declassified this order (him being president and all) If this order does exist it is now fair game for the public to see. Hopefully the are multiple groups asking for the disclosure of this wiretap. I knew all along that he would bring about his own fall. We just needed to give him room.

the function of court authorization of wiretaps, has no idea that a President himself cannot "order" wiretaps, has no clue that he has just opened up his own shitcan of worms. Bring it on Trumpy! We want to know what it's all about!

Yeah, he thought Prez could order wiretaps. It's like when he said, we wanted out of TPP because of China.

You would think after that one, he would have learned to check his facts before he opened his fat ugly mug. Even worse, he tweeted it to the whole bloody world!
I bet Mexico is ROFL with this one.

...if there was some sort of illegal wiretap (extremely unlikely), then Sasse does handsprings and delights in talking about it on Fox News. If it turns out that the FBI had obtained such a warrant through FISA (far more likely), then Sasse lets Trump essentially impeach himself, and gets what he wanted, President Pence while also putting distance between himself and Trump.

Its a win-win for Sasse.

Probably if they had AJ that was legit, not in recuse and or involved they might be able to get a hold of it. As of now it kind of looks more like a case of Judicial privilege taking place. What's trump going to do now fire all the judges
